Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join. Meet the teachers who would care for your child each day. Ask about the schedule, meals, and rest time. Bring your questions. We will walk you through how the day runs.

Enroll and settle in
Complete the enrollment forms and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. We will talk about drop-off, pickup, and what helps your child feel at home. Then your child can start. We will check in with you often.
What to have ready
Most families fill out enrollment forms, a health form, and an immunization record. We also ask for emergency contacts and the names of people allowed to pick up your child. If you are not sure what you need, call us and we will help. We will tell you what is required before the first day.
Pack a change of clothes in case of spills or water play. Send outdoor gear that fits the season, like a coat, hat, and shoes for outside. If your child naps here, bring nap items and one comfort object from home. Label everything with your child's name.
Before the first day, decide who will drop off and who will pick up. Tell us how you want to hear about your child's day and how often. We will follow your lead. Share any food allergies or routines that matter. This helps the first day go smoothly.
The first weeks
The first days are often shorter so your child can get used to the room. Bring a familiar object, like a small toy or blanket. A teacher will greet your child by name and stay close. You can call to check in as often as you need.
At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, slept, and played. They share what went well and what was hard. Most children settle in after a few days, but every child is different. We keep talking with you until it feels right.

Can we visit before deciding?
Yes, a tour is how families decide. Children come along; they can see the rooms, meet a teacher, and try a seat at the table.
What should my child bring on the first day?
For a first day, families usually pack a full change of clothes, including socks and shoes, because spills and water play happen. A comfort item from home, like a small blanket or stuffed animal, helps at nap. Label everything with your child's name. Ask your child's teacher what else the room needs.
How do you handle the first weeks?
Settling in usually starts with shorter days, then builds to the full schedule as your child gets comfortable. A familiar object from home can stay in your child's cubby or rest spot. At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, napped, played, and what they noticed during the day.
What does a typical day include?
The day is built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, and outdoor time. We serve four meals a day: breakfast, an am snack, lunch, and a pm snack. Then it is time to go home or to after school care.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Parents usually hear about the day at pickup, when teachers share what your child did. If you want more detail, ask your child's teacher. Infant and toddler teachers can tell you about feedings, naps, and diapering. You can also ask about your child's progress and any concerns.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have. Ask us what is available for your child's age, and we will tell you the days and times that fit.
What if there is no place right now?
If we do not have a place right now, you can ask us to tell you when one opens for your child's age. We will keep your information and call you when something comes up.
What should I ask on the tour?
Ask about hours, meals, and who can pick up your child. Ask how the first weeks are handled and what a typical day looks like. We are happy to answer anything before you decide.
